I have great respect for children and their parents who have taken the decision to travel so far from home to experience school life in a completely different cultural style, and very often in a different language.
My own three children grew up in a country where the language was different from our family language so I have been able to identify with experiences on a personal level. I also taught English for many years so struggles with language usage is something with which I can readily empathise.
Students enjoy the facilities of the well-equipped schools in this area as well as the sweeping landscape and coast line which enhances their stay in Norfolk or Suffolk. The host families that I recruit are often able to widen the cultural experience for students by including them in family outings or going on special excursions.
