Host Families
Our UK host families form a large part of the guardianship service we offer our students. English host families offer students the opportunity to integrate into a British family and study in comfort. They can continue to practice their language skills and experience another culture first hand.

Local Guardian (LG)
WHG host families are supported by their Local Guardians, with back up from our Bournemouth based Head Office.
Our LGs are carefully chosen and trained to Level 2 Safeguarding or higher. They are the student’s educational guardian during their stay in the UK and are responsible for the student’s welfare and safety and give support where needed.
The LG is responsible for completing an annual inspection report for your home, they will visit as often as required. They are your first point of call and are there to help you.
