 Secondary LG
Our names are Sue and Richard Cameron, we are a husband and wife team. We have been working with White House Guardianships since 2009. Our son Kris helps us with the airport transfers, meeting students and escorting them to school or host families.

We have all worked with young people for many years as Richard and I were foster parents and Kris has his own children, we have 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.

We all enjoy working with young people from all over the world and take great satisfaction watching them grow and develop personally and helping them achieve the maximum benefits from the opportunities that arise during their stay.

We are keen for all students in our area to have a happy, healthy visit and we like them to enjoy the experience of England and our culture. However, we are strict on safety and take a strong stance on timekeeping and communication We like to know what the students are doing both in and out of school and always put their welfare first. We are conscientious and treat the students like family, any decisions we make are for the long term benefit of the students. We enjoy meeting the parents of our students so they know who we are and that their son/daughter are being well looked after and they can contact us at any time.

About the Area

Enveloped in the hills of South West England, it has a distinctive identity. Grounded in roots from centuries past, passionate locals and spirited fans have helped carve out its character ever since. Writers, film directors, artists, actors, scientists, musicians and architects have sought inspiration here.

Famed for its passionate character and its maritime history, and for the acres of parkland and sustainable approach that earned it European Green Capital status, Bristol has created its own distinctive identity. Year-round festivals, award-winning cycle tracks, rejuvenated warehouses and behind secret doorways, stunning cityscapes and awe-inspiring street arts are a must to see.

Bristol is twinned with Beira in Mozambique, Bordeaux in France, Guangzhou in China, Hanover in Germany, Porto in Portugal, Puerto Morazán in Nicaragua and Tbilisi in Georgia.
